International Computing in the Atmospheric Sciences Symposium

The biennial International Computing in the Atmospheric Sciences (iCAS) Symposium brings together an international group of center directors and specialists from the atmospheric and related geosciences communities to discuss advances in the ever-changing computing landscape and the unique challenges facing centers that focus on climate and weather research and forecasting.
At iCAS 2024, attendees will hear about challenges in the development and modernization of climate and weather models on the latest computational hardware; progress in machine learning for Earth system science; advances in services for data curation, sharing, and analysis; and how centers are responding to workforce and community challenges.
