We provide educators, students, and the public with educational tools that teach about the importance of high-performance computing (HPC) in our pursuit of answering questions about our world. These open-source learning opportunities aid in the diversification of our science community by making HPC accessible and fun.

CISL’s holistic student and visitor experiences are making a long-term, positive impact on the quality and diversity of the people who will use and operate 21st century supercomputers. Our mentors and collaborators provide students and visitors with significant hands-on experience in high-performance computing and related fields that use HPC for scientific discovery and modeling.

As the CISL Outreach, Diversity, and Education group, we aim to make science and HPC accessible to all. We invite you to explore our educational offerings, learn about our student and visitor experiences, and contact us if you are interested in learning more about the resources that we have to offer.
