This tutorial shows participants how to use NCAR Command Language (NCL) effectively in the Yellowstone environment.
Participants learn how to run NCL from the Yellowstone command line interface and how to submit an NCL script in a batch job.
Prerequisites: Participants should have a Yellowstone user account and be familiar with basic UNIX/Linux commands, simple NCL file I/O and graphics scripts, and the NetCDF variable model (dimensions, attributes, and coordinate arrays).
This was presented by Mary Haley, VETS, in October 2014. (60 minutes)
