HPSS: Using your terabyte-years wisely

This one-hour class and webinar helps users get the most from their High Performance Storage System (HPSS) allocations. Participants get a look “under the hood” of HPSS and review best practices and procedures for using the system, where allocations are made and charged in terms of terabyte-years.

Topics include deciding when data should (and should not) be archived to HPSS; how to archive large data sets most efficiently; and how best to retrieve files from the system.
