Scientists and staff members from NCAR’s Computational and Information Systems Lab (CISL) attended the annual IEEE Supercomputing Conference (SC16) at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 13-18, 2016. This year marked the 29th iteration of this conference series, and it brought together over 11,000 members from the international high performance computing community. CISL hosted a vendor booth to encourage other scientists and conference attendees to network with staff and learn about applications of high performance computing resources to climate research, as well as NCAR research opportunities for students and early-career scientists. The booth featured talks by CISL scientists and interns, demonstrations of novel education technologies, and information about NCAR and UCAR.

The following video is a recap of CISL at SC16.
