                NCAR's next generation HPC procurement

The Yellowstone petascale HPC system and associated storage, data analysis and visualization resources have been in production less than two years.  It therefore may be surprising that CISL is already embarking on the procurement for the follow-on to these systems.  Dubbed "NWSC-2", the successor to Yellowstone is expected to be delivered in mid-2016 with a production availability of January 2017.

This talk will be a town hall style meeting that will outline the elements of the NWSC-2 procurement, and give staff an opportunity to provide input to the process, and ask questions of those who are involved in the major elements of the procurement.
