CU-Boulder hosting Intel training October 19-20 at NCAR

The University of Colorado, Boulder, is hosting an Intel training event October 19-20 at the NCAR Foothills Laboratory (FL2-Room 1001). Topics to be covered include Intel Xeon Phi architecture, the importance of code modernization; vectorization; Intel compilers and libraries; Intel Vtune, Inspector, Advisor, and MPI Performance Snapshot; OpenMP; and identifying threading bottlenecks with Intel tools.

The sessions are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days, including lunch and other breaks. There is a small fee to cover food ($50). See the CU Research Computing site for details and a link to the registration form.
