2020 ISS Student Travel Assistance

2020 SEA's Improving Scientific Software Student Travel Scholarship

This application is to receive funding to attend the 2020 SEA's Improving Scientific Software Conference, sponsored by the National Center for Atmospheric Research. We are hoping to fund approximately 8 students for this event. Funding will include: registration, hotel, transportation and per diem. 

Eligibility: Open to undergraduate or graduate students at U.S. colleges or universities.  Students currently at minority-serving institutions or schools from EPSCoR states are strongly encouraged to apply.

The 2020 SEA's Improving Scientific Software conference is being held at the UCAR Center Green Campus in Boulder, Colorado on April 27-May 1, 2020.

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on resume and essay responses. Application for travel support does not guarantee that recipients will receive funding. Successful applicants will be notified of their funding in mid-March 2020.

The application deadline EXTENDED to Monday, March 2 at 9am MST.
