2019 SEA Conference Travel Assistance

This application is to receive funding to attend the 2019 Software Engineering Assembly (SEA) Conference, sponsored by the National Center for Atmospheric Research. We are hoping to fund approximately ten students for this event. Funding will include: registration, hotel, transportation and per diem.  Students currently at minority-serving institutions or schools from EPSCoR states are strongly encouraged to apply.

The 2019 SEA Conference theme is Improving Scientific Software, and the conference is being held at the UCAR Center Green Campus in Boulder, Colorado on April 8-12, 2019.

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on resume and essay responses. Application for travel support does not guarantee that recipients will receive funding. Successful applicants will be notified of their funding in mid-February, 2019.

The application deadline is Friday, February 1, 2019.
